Killian Learns to Ride a Bike

Killian actually learned to ride a bike sans training wheels yesterday. It was pretty cool to watch him after spending only a few days, and only minutes at a time, having him try and fail. And then, within a day, he went from us helping to starting and stopping without assistance. He's out there riding as I type this blog post. Here are a couple of photos from yesterday and a video.

Killian Starts Soccer

Sadly, these are the best of the very few shots I got of Killian on his first day of soccer. #1 excuse for such poor shooting: it was 32 degrees out there! Jeesh, talk about a bad temperature to begin such an effort in! Anywhere here he is with his neighbor Caden..


And here he is with the whole team.



Suffice it to say that very few of them were effective "team players" on the first day, but I think that most, if not all, of them had fun. Note to self: more layers next time.

Muddy farm part 2

Visiting a local farm

Killian got to go to a local farm with his mom and Susan. It was a very muddy adventure based on recent multiple day rains and he had a fantastic time. Here are some pictures.
