Emily was told "Emily, look at all this hair that came out while I was brushing."

Seeing as how he is a healthy 10 year old, she caught on pretty quickly that such a case was pretty unlikely. A lite grilling brought forward the truth that he had cut his own hair to get rid of "the part that stood up". Luckily for him it's not *too* obvious. Glad we made it past this disaster with minimal impact and credit to him for doing it while I wasn't around.

Killian apparently decided to sneak a few pictures of himself with my camera on our trip to the beach.  It was a good thing for two reasons:

1. I failed to take any decent photos while we were there.
2. It made for a very entertaining surprise when I downloaded the pictures from my camera tonight.

Wii!

Killian got a Wii for his birthday as one of his big gifts.  He was all about Wii Sports Boxing.  Here's a sampling of his skills on display (note that he is incorporating the relatively unknown "kick" maneuver):

Happy 6th Birthday!

Killian turned six this past Thursday and had his birthday at a skating rink, Jellybeans, on Saturday.  The party was a great success with 21 kids (and almost as many parents).  Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and I only managed to test my gravity skills on one occasion.  I am pretty certain that Bobbie would have approved of the party I put together.  :)
